A versatile logo will work across a variety of media. For this reason a logo should be designed in vector format. This ensures that it can be scaled to any size, from a billboard down to a business card. The logo should be able to be printed in a single color and reversed to allow it to display properly on a light or dark background. Logo designers unaware of this may create a logo with an attractive appearance, but that alone will not ensure your logo’s longevity.
